PAYMENT

All prices listed are in USD. A non-refundable $100 retainer is due at the time of booking on any custom covers. Prices are subject to change at any time, and without warning. Price is only guaranteed upon receipt of retainer.

Final payments are due within 7 days of the invoice being sent. A 10% late fee will be added for each additional week that payment isn’t made. No files will be sent until payment is complete.

PREMADES

Premade sales are final. There are no refunds or exchanges once the invoice is paid. Payment is due within 24 hours of the invoice being sent. Failure to do so will put the cover back on the market.

Premade text modifications are included in the purchase price. Major modifications to fonts or design will require an additional charge.

The completion of all final files for Wild Love Designs may take 1 - 2 weeks.

WORK FLOW

Please try to book your cover as soon as possible and well ahead of any scheduled deadlines. Each additional change will take extra time on Wild Love Designs part to complete. Wild Love Designs is not responsible for missed deadlines on the Client’s end due to additional changes.

CUSTOM COVERS

Wild Love Designs will send one initial proof/mock-up unless otherwise discussed. After the initial proof, there is an allowance of three revisions. Additional changes may incur a fee.

The Client understands that the image isn't to be altered by anyone except Sherri of Wild Love Designs. The Client also understands that additional charges may apply for any alterations after approval and/or after final files are sent. Changes after the final files are sent will begin at $50 and may increase with the number of files that need to be altered.

IMAGE EXPENSES

Stock Images used by Wild Love Designs may be from the following stock image sites: - Deposit Photos (Standard License) - Shutterstock (Standard License) - Adobe Stock (Standard License) - Envato Elements (Standard License) - Creative Market (Commercial & Desktop Licenses)

The image chosen will only be used for this project. Wild Love Designs maintains full rights to this photo, Client maintains limited rights to use this photo for anything involving the Client’s book promotion, alone. Other authors/designers may have the same or similar images/models and Wild Love Designs can’t be held liable for other covers/etc that contain the same imagery.

Photo may NOT be sold, reused, or used out of context aside from the specified book-related printing, reproductions, and otherwise. It may be used for any print promotion and online promotional use. It may not be used for sale items other than the eBook and print book. If other sale items will be created from this photo, the Client will need to purchase the full rights to the image.

Photo may not be used on any other printed work by alternate designers unless otherwise discussed. Wild Love Designs, and the Client maintain the rights to the specified photo.

Each image shall not, under any circumstances, be altered without prior permission by Wild Love Designs.

If the Client chooses to provide the cover image, they maintain the rights to said image. The Client must obtain the correct rights and permissions for use of the photo they are providing. Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Wild Love Designs from any and all copyright and permission infringement action resulting from materials client provides.

Client acknowledges that stock image licenses may include print run limitations.

AI USAGE:

AI imagery is not used by Wild Love Designs. Even though there are occasional mistakes and reputable websites neglect to appropriately tag AI, we are committed to being diligent in our efforts to prevent such errors. Should we mistakenly use an artificially generated image in our design, we will promptly correct it by removing it from the cover. Accidents are part of being human, but we are committed to making things right if they occur.

CANCELLATION:

In the event of a cancellation before work has started, no further expenses will be owed. If the work has begun on the project, the remaining balance will be owed. Once work is booked, no refund will be given.

Cancelling the agreed upon project, the Client acknowledges Wild Love Designs will retain all created material and work.

OWNERSHIP:

Wild Love Designs maintains the full rights of all original designs. Designs and their concept, including layout, image style, colouring, placement, and fonts aren't permitted to be recreated or altered by another person. The Client maintains the rights to the stock photo that they have downloaded. The Client understands that any image may not be altered by anyone except WLD.

Wild Love Designs controls the limited rights to the cover to use as any sort of self-promotion, portfolio, client viewing, etc.

ATTRIBUTION

Wild Love Designs requires cover design credit in the form of “Cover Design by Sherri at Wild Love Designs” or “Cover Design by Wild Love Designs” to appear in Client’s eBook and print copy.

LIABILITY

Wild Love Designs isn't liable for damages of any kind, including loss of revenues, profits, business, reputation, or data, in any way related to our graphic design services. WLD isn't responsible for any claim, loss, or injury based on errors or inaccuracies appearing on our site or in our clients’ written documents once the cover has been approved.

Should WLD take longer to complete the project than originally indicated i.e. family emergency, act of nature, the Client will be contacted via phone or email in order to agree upon a new project completion date.

CODE OF FAIR PRACTICE

Wild Love Designs acknowledges that to the best of their knowledge, the work prepared is an original creation and has not been previously published, and/or consent to use has been obtained. The work prepared does not contain any scandalous, libelous, or unlawful matter. The Client and/or others may not use WLD products in any way that may infringe upon the rights of others.

ACCEPTION OF TERMS

Both Wild Love Designs and the Client will acknowledge acceptance of these terms. By acknowledging this contract, the Client agrees to hold WLD entirely free from any liability, including financial.
